The event discussed practical issues of cooperation between Ukrainian and Czech local authorities and local self-government, including Ukraine’s reconstruction.

Vitaliy Usaty informed the participants of the forum about the current state of Ukrainian-Czech relations, as well as the extensive military and humanitarian assistance provided by the central and regional authorities of the Czech Republic since the first days of the Russian invasion. Separately, the importance of the development of contacts between the Association of Cities of Ukraine and the Association of cities of the Czech Republic was noted. In this context, the Embassy’s readiness to all contribute to the improvement of effective bilateral interregional interaction and the signing of memorandums of cooperation between Ukrainian and Czech cities was expressed
