Embassy of Ukraine in Prague / Velvyslanectví Ukrajiny v Praze

Overnight, Russia attacked Ukrainian grain terminals and port infrastructure involved in the Black Sea Grain Initiative.
In the port of Chornomorsk in the Odesa region, Russia destroyed 60,000 tons of grain. It was supposed to be shipped months ago, but the terrorist state kept sabotaging the grain initiative. In the deliberate attack, Russia burnt the food that could have fed thousands of people worldwide. Complete restoration of the affected facilities will take at least a year.
The terrorist state has once again proved its disregard for human lives. This is another crime not just against Ukraine but against the entire world. We call on all UN member states to work jointly with us to protect those whose lives depend on Ukrainian grain.
