The children of the dead, injured and missing soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine arrived to the Czech Republic.
70 children from Khmelnytsky will be in Prague for a week at the invitation of the brothers of the city of Khmelnytskiy City Hall of the city part of Prague 6.
Today, the children were solemnly welcomed by the Mayor of Prague 6 Yakub Starek, the temporary trustee in the affairs of Ukraine in the Czech Republic Vitaliy Usatiy, Deputy Mayor of Prague 6, for educational issues Marjan Chapkova and Director of Czech High School “Marjánka” Anna Niklova. Also Ukrainian children congratulated their Czech peers-children’s school choir, who prepared a song in Ukrainian language.
During the event, Vitaliy Usaty gave an interview to Prague Regional Television and thanked the administration of Prague 6 and the school director for organizing a rich program for children, and for the opportunity to feel calm, get positive emotions and rest from the daily sounds of siren and shelling by Russian occupants.
