Interim Commissioner for Ukraine Affairs in Czech Republic Vitaliy Usaty met with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Social Policy and Labor of the Czech Republic Maryan Yurechko.
During the meeting, problematic issues regarding the stay of temporarily displaced persons from Ukraine in the Czech Republic and their solutions were discussed. Also discussed in detail the urgent topic of unaccompanied children’s stay in the Czech Republic.
Vitaliy Usatiy thanked Mr. Minister for constructive dialogue and for providing comprehensive assistance to temporarily displaced citizens of Ukraine.
During the entire time of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Czech Republic has issued over 520 thousand temporary protection visas to Ukrainian citizens.
On his part, the Vice Prime Minister assured that the Czech Republic will continue to stand side by side with Ukraine.
Thanks to the government of the Czech Republic for help, support of territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.
