On the initiative and organization of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Czech Republic, the National Museum of Agriculture and in cooperation with the Embassy in the Czech Republic began an exhibition entitled: “Ukraine: fields of forest, fields of war”.
Three damaged agricultural cars from Ukraine were delivered to the Czech Republic. Each unit is accompanied by a description of the history of the machine and the farmers who worked on them to draw attention to the global consequences of the Russia-Ukraine war. The exhibition also presents a virtual reality project from Ukrainian director Volodymyr Kovbasy, through which every visitor has the opportunity to spend 4 minutes in Ukraine and see with their own eyes the scale of ruins and the consequences of the “Russian measure”.
As part of the project, the initiative “Bread from the Minefield” was also organized to raise funds to purchase a modern mining system for Ukraine. For a month, Czech bakeries baked bread from Ukrainian flour, the bread further transferred to the Czech Food Bank, symbolizing that Ukraine feeds the whole world.
During the opening of the exhibition, Interim Commissioner for Ukraine Affairs Vitaliy Usaty thanked the Czech side for the implementation of this important project, as well as the Czech Government for the quick reaction and condemnation of the actions of the Russian Federation regarding the exit of the “grain agreement” and expressed hope for further support of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky initiative “Grain from Ukraine”.
