Applications for the Drahomán Prize for 2023 are ongoing
The award is given once a year for high translating skills and contribution to the promotion of Ukrainian literature abroad.
Nominate for the award can translators, in the production of which at least one translated and published artwork or documentary, regardless of the country of residence.
The book, which features a nominated translator, is to be published in a foreign publishing house within the last three years. A translator cannot be nominated for a prize with a book translated by a team of translators.
Foreign cultural institutions, diplomatic institutions, scientific centers, publishers, creative associations and members of the Chapter can nominate a translator to receive the Award.

We would like to remind you that the Drahomán Prize was founded in 2020 by the Ukrainian Institute, the Ukrainian PEN and the Ukrainian Institute of Books. The award is intended to support and celebrate the escort work of translators from Ukrainian language to the languages of the world.
