Today, on the day of vyshyvanka, the Ukrainian community in the Czech Republic traditionally gathered near the monument to taras shevchenko in Prague for the initiatives of the public organization “bereginia”.
In his speech to the attendees, the Embassy Advisor Eugene Kulesha noted:
“Today, when Ukraine has been for over 10 years bravely confronting the Russian aggressor, we must be united. Wherever we are, it’s important to remember who we are, from where and what we are fighting for. Each of us is now a representative of Ukraine, and it’s very responsible”.
The event was also present Inga Petryčka-member of the commission on national minorities of the magistrate of the city of Prague.
