LAVRS Market is a unique pop-up event where 11 select Prague second-hand shops come together to offer their pieces to visitors. You can shop for used second-hand goods, Czech brand clothing, and products, promoting sustainability and the circular economy. The event also features lectures, workshops, food, drinks, and live music. Renowned fashion designer and coach Kamila Vodochodská is the market ambassador. The LAVRS Market will take place at Gabriel Loci on Holečkova Street.
The Open House Prague festival grants access to usually inaccessible homes and spaces throughout the city. Special tours for children, the hearing or visually impaired, and long-term residents from other countries will also be available.
Art enthusiasts can visit the biennial international art exhibition held at Čapková síň on Anenská Street. The exhibition features original works and crafts by international artists from various countries. The competition covers different disciplines such as drawing, graphics, painting, photography, and sculpture. The exhibition director, Susan Loy, renowned for her watercolor paintings, will showcase the best works judged by Jana Tichá and Isabella Evangelisti.
For hockey enthusiasts, the Radlice Cultural Sports Hall offers live broadcasts of the Czech team’s matches at the Ice Hockey World Championship. Gather with fellow fans, enjoy the games on a large screen, and savor some delicious beer. Various restaurants and venues, such as Kolkovna, Želivárna, Sladovna, and Turnovská Pivnice, also screen the matches.
