In the capital City of Prague, a manufacturer of membranes, a tinkerer among tradesmen, flashed among companies
PwC Company of the Year 2023 The capital of Prague is called MEGA and is dedicated to the development and production of membranes. MONETA Life saver of the year 2023 Anna Benešová, producer and seller of wire author jewellery, won the title of The Capital city of Prague.
Anna Benešová’s creation is based on traditional drapery techniques, which she transforms into an attractive modern form. Thus, the original draughtsmanship remains not only preserved, but also growing into its contemporary, vibrant form.
The photographer and retoucher Mia Křížková won silver among the tradesmen. The third runner-up was gallerist and cafemanager Martina Machalíčková.
The winning mega company accommodates membrane-based processes, surface treatments, ecological services and water treatment. Electromembrane separation based on its own membranes brings profits to companies through the recovery of valuableand less waste generated. In the field of industrial surface finishes, it supplies customers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia with materials, technologies and services based on cataphoresis, i.e. coating of draughts, and other modern technologies. In the eco-services segment, it uses both a deep knowledge of hydrogeology and its own proprietary methods of advanced remediation. It also designs and implements complete turnkey technologies for drinking water treatment as well as industrial and wastewater treatment.
The second place in the regional race was taken by ALBI Czech Republic, a maker of gifts and games for everyone. Bronze is being braved by the Fruitisimo group, a European network of healthy drinks outlets.
In the accompanying category MONETA Life Saver of the Year The Heartthrob, who in each region appreciates the tradesmen who managed to overcome all sorts of pitfalls of business, and after all they did not give up, won and this award in Prague was won by photographer and retoucher Mia Křížková.
The winners of the regional round become all-time finalists at the same time. The ceremony to announce the nationwide results of the PwC Firma of the Year 2023 and MONETA Živnostník of the Year 2023 competitions will take place on December 14 at Žofín in Prague.
