ČEŠTÍ ARCHEOLOGOVÉ V IZRAELI VÁLÍ

Čeští archeologové v Izraeli se před palbou raket z pásma Gazy neschovávali. Z lokality Tel Azeka, kde už jedenáctou sezonu pracují, ale střely Islámského džihádu na obloze pozorovali. Během předminulého víkendu jich teroristická organizace vyslala na izraelské území přes tisícovku. Před týdnem ale bylo vyhlášeno příměří a boje ustaly. Čeští vědci tak můžou svou pozornost znovu plně věnovat důležitým vykopávkám. A jde jim to skvěle:

Izraelský archeolog profesor Oded Lipšic z Tel Avivské univerzity, který výzkum vede, to potvrzuje „Když budu upřímný, naprostá většina práce se udělá od pěti od rána právě do snídaně v půl desáté. Ale některé národnosti, jako jsou třeba Češi, jsou schopné kopat pořád.“

CZECH ARCHAEOLOGISTS ARE DOING GREAT IN ISRAEL

Czech archaeologists in Israel did not hide from rocket fire from the Gaza Strip. From the location of Tel Azeka, where they have been working for the eleventh season, they could observe the rockets fired by the Islamic Jihad. During the weekend before last, the terrorist organization sent over a thousand of them to Israeli territory. But a week ago, a ceasefire was declared and the fighting stopped. Czech scientists can thus fully devote their attention to their important excavations. And they’re doing great:

Israeli archaeologist Professor Oded Lipschits from the Tel Aviv University, who is leading the research, confirms this: “To be honest, the vast majority of the work is done from five in the morning until breakfast at half past ten. But some nationalities, such as the Czechs, are capable of working around the clock.”
