ČAPKOVO PROTIVÁLEČNÉ DRAMA, NÁRODNÍ DIVADLO BRNO A NEJPROSLULEJŠÍ IZRAELSKÁ SCÉNA
Činohra Národní divadlo Brno dnes a zítra večer odehraje na prknech proslulého izraelského národního divadla Habima הבימה התיאטרון הלאומי Čapkovu hru Matka.
Není to přitom poprvé, co se toto drama na této scéně objevuje. Matka se tu hrála již v roce 1939, tedy pouhý rok po své pražské premiéře. Hlavní roli tehdy v Izraeli ztvárnila slavná herečka své doby, Hanna Rovina.
Spolupráce mezi oběma divadly neskončí odehráním dvou představení v Tel Avivu. Soubor Národního divadla Habima přiveze do Brna inscenaci The One My Soul Loves, která autorsky zpracovává útok na telavivský podnik pro LGBTQ+ komunitu v roce 2009. Představení se odehraje v rámci festivalu Divadelní svět Brno, který pořádá Národní divadlo Brno a který patří mezi nejvýznamnější divadelní festivaly v ČR.

ČAPEK’S ANTI-WAR DRAMA, BRNO NATIONAL THEATER AND THE MOST FAMOUS ISRAELI STAGE
National Theater Brno ensemble will present Čapek’s Mother at the Habima Theatre twice, tonight and tomorrow night.
This is not the first time this drama appears on this stage. Less than a year after the Prague premiere, the play Mother also appeared on the stage of the Habima Theater on December 3, 1939 with Hanna Rovina in the leading role.
The collaboration between the two theaters will not end with two performances in Tel Aviv. The ensemble of the Habima National Theater will bring to Brno the production The One My Soul Loves, which is an adaptation of the attack on a Tel Aviv LGBTQ+ community in 2009. The performance will be performed as part of the Theater World Brno festival, which is organized by the National Theater Brno and which is one of the most important theater festivals in Czech republic.
