CZECH REPUBLIC AGAIN STANDS WITH ISRAEL
The UN General Assembly approved a resolution calling for a truce in the Gaza Strip, ten countries, including the Czech Republic, opposed.
Ambassador Anna Azari thanked for this: “Thank you for not shifting from your principles and expressing yourself very clearly in the UN. It’s alarming that some countries are using the UN to target only Israel while blatantly overlooking Hamas’ barbaric attack. This will not do anything good for the Palestinian people and further it only takes away the confidence that the U.N. has left. “

October and clearer language for the immediate release of hostages held by Hamas and other terrorist groups. Since these changes could not be enforced into the text, the Czech Republic voted against,” commented spokesman of Ministerstvo zahraničních věcí České republiky Daniel Drake.

The UN General Assembly approved a resolution calling for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, ten countries, including the Czech Republic, were against it.
Ambassador Anna Azari thanked for this: “Thank you for not compromising your principles and speaking out very clearly at the UN. It is alarming that some countries use the UN to target Israel exclusively, while blatantly ignoring the barbaric attack by Hamas. This does nothing good for the Palestinian people and further erodes what trust the UN still has left.”
