It is expected that summer temperatures will soar above 25°C over the upcoming weekend; however, the forecast also includes the possibility of thunderstorms and showers.

According to Honsová, Saturday and Sunday will experience partly cloudy skies, accompanied by scattered thunderstorms or showers. This combination of weather patterns may create an unpredictable environment for outdoor activities during the weekend.

On Thursday, which coincides with the feast day of St. Medard, renowned for the saying “St. Medard’s drops last for forty days,” mostly cloudy conditions are expected, with occasional sunny intervals. Some regions may also experience scattered thunderstorms or showers. The temperature range for the day will be between 21°C and 25°C.

Moving into Friday, the outlook remains cloudy, with showers or thunderstorms anticipated throughout the day. The temperature range for Friday will span from 15°C to 25°C.

As the weekend approaches, Saturday is forecasted to be partly cloudy, with scattered thunderstorms or showers predicted, particularly in the eastern parts of the country. The temperature range for the day will be between 11°C and 26°C. Sunday is expected to have similar weather conditions, featuring partly cloudy skies and scattered thunderstorms or showers in select areas. The temperature range for Sunday mirrors that of Saturday, fluctuating between 11°C and 26°C.

From Monday to Wednesday, the skies will transition from partly cloudy to cloudy, with occasional scattered thunderstorms or showers. During this period, temperatures are anticipated to range from 11°C to 24°C.

Despite the forecasted weather conditions, this weekend offers an excellent opportunity to take advantage of the rising summer temperatures and engage in outdoor activities throughout the Czech Republic.
