Motosalon 2024 with all major brands back in Brno – from 29.2. to 3.3.

Prague, 31 January 2024

The spring motorcycle exhibition in Brno once started in one pavilion and this year will extend from the giant modern Pavilion P to three more exhibition halls. On the 29th day. 2. -3. 3. 2024, two halls P and F will be filled with exhibits with motorcycles and accessories on display. In the third, the G1 Experience Hall, with “Come for a ride!” visitors will be able to ride the new BMW models. In the last, fourth hall, there will be a “biker” refreshment, i.e. Burger Arena. And there will be plenty of fun outdoors, with two stuntrider arenas for an accompanying program full of wild stunts on bikes instead of one riding area. But we must also remember to demonstrate safe driving.

The main attraction is of course the new motorcycle models and visitors can look forward to a full representation of all major motorcycle and ATV brands in our market. Large expositions for 2024 are prepared by Honda, Harley-Davidson, BMW, Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, Piaggio, Vespa, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Indian, CF Moto, Benelli, Brixton, TGB, Triumph, Voge, Can-am, Jawa, Ducati, QJ, Fantic, Ural, Segway and others. The Czech premiere here will be a whole host of hot news. Among the most-watched “hits” is sure to be the new generation of BMW R 1300 GS’s best-selling travel endura, or the new BMW R12 cruiser with two-cylinder boxer engines. Just a few weeks after the first show, the new giant harley-Davidson Road Glide and Street Glide tours will arrive from America for the Czech physical premiere, accompanied by a truly exclusive CVO Road Glide ST model derived from the racing special from the King of the Baggers series.
From the Italian south, the new Moto Guzzi Stelvio adventure model comes to show with water cooled cylinders to the sides, at the Ducati stand we can look forward to the ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono’s wild single-cylinder model. Speaking of single-cylinders, a new modern Royal-Enfield Himalayan with a larger engine will also be introduced on home soil for the first time. Jaws, whether Czech or imported from the East, will of course be absent from the exhibition. The Suzuki will offer four-cylinder yelling with the new GSX-S1000GX motorway missile, and the new CB1000 Hornet will play the same note in Honda’s big exhibit, which also boasts new in-line twin-cylinders in the new Africa Twin Twin Sport models.
The same engine concept will then be of great interest to visitors in the wild orange coat of the KTM 990 Duke or in the exquisiteretro version of the Yamaha XSR900 GP. The CFMoto stand will showcase for the first time a lightweight travel enduro 450 MT, also with a straight two-cylinder, next door showcasing a nude Benelli TNT 500 or a Tornado 500 sports car. But this was just a brief overview of the most interesting seed beads you’ll be able to feel in the two exhibition halls reserved for motorcycles. And to the best, you might as well send a voice to the 2024 Motorcycle of the Year award, which will be launched in early February and closed on the second day of the show, so that the winning machines can still be announced during Motosalon.
There will also be no veterans, but this year in a very interesting way. Petr “Kenny” Burian is preparing a rather curious exhibition of legendary Czechoslovakian motorcycles Jawa and ČZ. But every model here will be right twice over. Once as a polished and perfectly refurbished veteran, and once as a total wreck or torso fished out of a river, dug up in a field or dug out of a barn from under a straw. At Motosalon, visitors will be able to compare the top-notch refurbished condition, alongside the so-called relatively well-preserved “patinas” and eventually completely recharged machines or their torsos. A separate part of this exhibit will be the pre-war Ogar motorcycles on loan from the Ogar Klub, which were manufactured in Prague eighty years ago. Ogara were eventually incorporated under Jawu, ČZ and Zbrojovka Brno and contributed in an interesting way to the development of Czech motorcycles.
.The veteran machines will also perform in action at Motosalon. On Thursday 29.2. there will be a “spanking ride” of celebrities from the ranks of visitors and exhibitors around the exhibition grounds as part of the opening ceremony. Most of them will ride beautifully battered or carefully refurbished historic ČZ motorcycles. Then, on Saturday, the well-known names of competitors, athletes and actors will battle it out among themselves on the aforementioned Cheetahs. There would be a fierce duel on the curving track between the pavilions, and a competitor would win, fortunate enough that his old machine would not crumble beneath his feet and be the first to reach the finish.
This year’s Early Exhibition will be very special also thanks to the test runs and races for the public, nicely in the dry of the G1 Pavilion. Every visitor who brings equipment to the show will have the opportunity to pre-register a 10-minute ride on new BMW models, including the best-selling and most sought-after large bike on the Czech market, this year’s BMW R 1300 GS novelty. A great chance to combine the purchase of new clothes with the first spring lift. For novice riders, there will be ready circling on a short oval, who wants to make it a little more challenging and touch the limits of their riding skills, can take a place on the oval to a ready course of cones and obstacles. Whoever manages the first half in three attempts will advance to the draw for a motorcycle trip to Spain. Those who go on can worry about other parts with challenging obstacles and win some of the prizes from the motoring school with its distinctive address www.prijdteseprojet.cz.
Anyone who prefers to watch and enjoys a proper spectacle full of smoke and riding on the edge of the laws of physics, can enjoy stuntrider performances on the outdoor area as part of the Czech Stunt Grand Prix under the patronage of Adam “Special” Peschel. One will be an outright show arena where the whole thing will be about fun, exhibition, stuntruding and many different styles. You’ll see a number of new tricks featuring multiple bikes at the same time. Our best stuntrider, Katka Jandová, or Measure “Sport” Frey, for example, will measure their strengths here. The organizer promises attractive choreography, a lot of drifting, headstands and a lot of mass rides, where riders cross or avoid each other at the last minute. But there will also be serious competition and racing at Motosalon, alongside the showcase will be a separate competition arena with four stands for the Czech Stunt Grand Prix championships. There will be a number of foreign riders coming and it will be a very exciting spectacle for the spectators, because there is no shortage of crashes in the competition.
Not only will the opening ceremony of Motosalon take place on the podium in the appendix of Pavilion F, but there will be alternating lectures, interesting performances and training of the theory of safe riding throughout the exhibition. News from the road and a series of interactive lectures on “How to pass safely on the road” will be provided by the Academy of Safe Driving. Lecturers from the Learn to Survive project will demonstrate a new interactive application on risk perception, within which visitors will look at the choice of risk situations by looking at the rider. How to deal with such situations, they will then learn in a series of lectures focusing on the correct setting and control of the motorcycle in different situations.
