On the 14^th October, the Embassy of Argentina and the Cinema Lucerna have presented the Opening of the 11th Annual Film Festival Cine Argentino with the screening of the film Official Competition.  The venue has been the cinema Lucerna in the heart of Prague.  The Festival aims at bringing together Argentinian and Czech culture through the art of Movie, and assemble persons interested in this type of exchange.

The Festival will go on until the 18^th October with a different movie screened every evening.

His Excellency Roberto Alejandro Salafia has chaired the event, which has started with a reception where several Ambassadors of other countries as well as other invited guests have tasted delicious panadas and Argentinian wine.  A Tango exhibition has also been part of the program. After the reception, the guests have moved to the Cinema Hall. The movie, directed by Mariano Cohn, has starred Penélope Cruz, Antonio Banderas, Melina Matthews, Oscar Martínez, Irene Escolar, Carlos Hipólito.
