PFL in Nova tie-up across Czech Republic and Slovakia

ixed martial arts’ (MMA) Professional Fighters League (PFL) has continued with its recent spree of media rights tie-ups by unveiling a deal across the Czech Republic and Slovakia with the commercial broadcaster TV Nova.

Through that agreement, TV Nova becomes the exclusive PFL broadcast rights partner in those two markets for the 2024 and 2025 seasons.

The deal covers both the PFL season as well as action from Bellator, the former rival MMA promotion that PFL took over late last year.

In addition to live programming, there will also be on-demand repeats and highlights content made available.

James Frewin, senior vice president of international at PFL, has said: “The Professional Fighters League is excited to announce our partnership with TV Nova and bring the best MMA action to fans in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. As the PFL continues to ascend as a global MMA leader, we are proud to serve fans across these regions with must-see action from our world-class fighters.”
