Ambassador Eduardo R. Meñez called on Czech Member of Parliament Romana Fischerova at the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic in Prague on 31 May 2023.

Following their initial meeting in the Philippines in February 2023, both officials discussed joint activities to further strengthen the cooperation between the parliaments of the Philippines and the Czech Republic and deepen the bonds of friendship between the peoples of the two countries, especially as they are to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic relations.

MP Fischerova is the Head of the Czech – Philippines Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group. END.
