09 January 2024 Prague – Cast and crew of Borracho Films movie, “Spring In Prague,” led by Producer Atty. Ferdinand Topacio visited the Embassy and called on Ambassador Eduardo Martin R, Meñez on 09 January 2024, their last shooting day in Prague, Czech Republic.

Written by Mr. Eric Ramos and directed by Mr. Lester Dimaranan, “Spring In Prague,” is about a Filipino, played by Mr. Paolo Gumabao, who falls in love with the granddaughter of a former high-ranking Czech Communist Party official in the former Czechoslovakia, played by Czech actress Ms. Sara Sandeva.

During the call, Atty. Topacio informed Ambassador Meñez was filmed in both the Philippines and the Czech Republic. Atty. Topacio also expressed his interest to collaborate with the Embassy for the film’s premiere in the Czech Republic Republic as part of the year – long celebration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and the Czech Republic.
