Prague Waterworks and Sewerage (PVK) have announced planned water disruptions in several areas of Prague, including Krč, Braník, Zbraslav, and Nusle. These disruptions are necessary to facilitate essential repairs, maintenance work, and inspections.
According to a press release from PVK, the scheduled water disruptions will take place from May 31st to June 1st, 2023. PVK will strive to provide alternative water supply arrangements based on consumer demands, transportation feasibility, and technical possibilities. This will involve the use of water tankers to ensure minimal inconvenience to residents.
In Prague 4 – Krč, the water supply will be interrupted on Wednesday, May 31st, between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM in specific locations such as Matek, Paprsková, Pod višňovkou, Sulická, and U krčského nádraží.
For Prague 4 – Braník, the water supply interruption will occur on Wednesday, May 31st, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Affected locations include Nad Zemankou and Zemanka.
In Prague 5 – Zbraslav, water supply disruptions are scheduled from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM on Wednesday, May 31st. The affected areas include Elišky Přemyslovny, Pod špejcharem, V Bílce, and Žabovřeská.
For Prague 4 – Nusle, there will be no water supply on Thursday, June 1st, from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM in Bělehradská and Na ostrůvku.
PVK emphasizes that these planned water disruptions are essential for carrying out necessary maintenance and repairs. During the specified periods, alternative water supply will be provided through water tankers to ensure residents have access to water. PVK aims to minimize inconvenience and appreciates the understanding and cooperation of the affected residents.
It is advisable for residents in the affected areas to make appropriate arrangements in advance, such as storing enough water for essential needs during the specified disruptions. PVK will make efforts to complete the work promptly and restore regular water supply as soon as possible.
