Pro-Palestinian Activists Demonstrate in Prague, Advocating for Peace and Justice in the Middle East

Prague, Czech Republic, October 26, 2023 – In a recent demonstration in Prague, pro-Palestinian activists gathered in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Loretánské Square in Hradčany to show their support for Palestine. The event, organized by the group “Ne naším jménem!” (Not in Our Name!), drew approximately two hundred individuals advocating for Palestine, with a smaller group demonstrating for Israel.

The demonstration featured speeches, and participants marched from Hradčany down to Malostranské Square, carrying signs with slogans such as “Free Palestine” and “Free Gaza.” The event concluded around 7:30 p.m. in Malostranské Square.

“Ne naším jménem!” has been actively advocating for a just peace in the Middle East for some time, and their demonstrations typically see consistent participation from both foreigners and Czech citizens who support the cause.

It is noteworthy that a small group of Israeli supporters also attended the demonstration, with approximately ten individuals carrying Israeli flags.
