STAN, Dosimeter and PDZ

Ex-Chair Pavel Bělobrádek of KDU-ČSL told Právo that he’s been quiet for three years aboutthe situation in his party but can’t take it any longer. KDU’s dive in the polls coincides withwhat he called a parasitic effort by STAN to present itself as the “internal opposition” in theFiala government. Bělobrádek said that he is convinced that STAN has a plan and that wcan speculate about whether the final phase will be a cabinet revolt. KDU’s dwindling poll numbers, now at 2%, will also have an impact on the future of the party in the Spolu coali]tion with ODS and TOP 09, he said. What can he do? Bělobrádek and his fellow MPs could go on the offensive now against STAN (and ODS) by giving ANO the votes it needs – evenby abstaining or walking out – to call a special session of Parliament about PDZ credit union. That would give Andrej Babiš and other ANO politicians the chance to further develop the theory of a link between STAN, Dosimeter and PDZ. It would be KDU’s own little revolt.
