The Czechia is expecting a temperature inversion with fog in the lowlands and sun in the mountains
The Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (ČHMÚ) has reported that the weather patterns in Czechia are expected to change throughout the week. The first half of the week will be characterized by a temperature inversion with fog in the lowlands and clear skies in the mountains. The daytime temperatures will range from two to ten degrees Celsius, with the highest temperatures being recorded during the day when there is extended low cloud cover. The nighttime temperatures will drop to zero, and in some places, they could even drop to minus two degrees.
However, the weather is expected to change more in the second half of the week when individual frontal systems will pass over the country from the west to the northwest. The meteorologists expect more clouds, rain in most areas, and snow in the mountains. The temperatures will warm up mainly at night and will range from two to seven degrees, rising to twelve degrees during the day. On Saturday, the cloudy weather with rain will continue, and snow is expected to gradually start in the mountains.
