The Czechia supports Montenegro’s entry into the European Union, Zeman said

President Miloš Zeman supports Montenegro’s accession to the European Union. He said this after a meeting with Montenegrin President Milo Đukanović, whom he received at Prague Castle on Tuesday.

“I am glad that relations between our countries are excellent. We share common views on Ukraine and the conflict that is taking place there. Of course, the Czech Republic supports Montenegro’s accession to the European Union and appreciates the achievements Montenegro has made,” Zeman said.

The politicians also discussed economic cooperation and, according to Zeman, tourism.

During his visit to the Czech Republic, Đukanović will meet with Prime Minister Petr Fiala and the heads of both chambers of parliament.
