The largest telescope of the Petřín Observatory was taken away for repairs

The largest telescope of the Štefánik Observatory in Prague, Petřín, has been taken for repair. It will be repaired in the German city of Jena.

A crane was needed to dismantle the instrument, which is 110 years old. It found a home at the Prague observatory in 1928.
