The unique International Chefs ’Cup competition

An important culinary event in the form of the Aramark International Chefs’ Cup will take place in Prague. The prestigious competition of chefs from many countries is taking place for the sixth time, this time for the first time in the Czech capital – on April 27 and 28. The organizer of the competition, which took place in recent years in London or Barcelona, ​​is the international company Aramark, which provides corporate catering for large companies around the world. This year, it will compete in nine teams, with chefs representing countries or regions (BeLux – Belgium and Luxembourg, the Czech Republic, Ireland, the United Kingdom and Canada, Germany, Spain, South Korea, LATAM – Chile, Argentina and Mexico).  “All contestants will prepare a fine-dining three-course menu, with the task of creating a shared plate for two, where half will be vegetarian,” outlined this year’s assignment Vladimír Staněk, CEO of Aramark, adding: “Another challenge The competition will be played by an unknown ingredient and Czech local ingredients, which they will find out about the day before the competition. ”The winner will be decided by an international jury made up of well-known chefs and culinary experts from the Czech Republic and abroad. domestic culinary celebrities like Radek David and Marek Fichtner. Among the foreign jurors we can mention Michelin chef Jörg Leroy or Peruvian chef star Juan Danil. The ceremony will take place as part of the gala evening on April 28 in Prague.
