The US will buy $3B worth of arms for Ukraine from South Korea.

The US will buy South Korean-made weapons for Ukraine, which will be delivered through the Czech Republic, reported iDnes. According to the publication, the United States will pay for the weapons, which include rocket launchers and ammunition worth billions of dollars. Editorial sources claim the purchase price to be about 75 billion Czech crowns, nearly $3B. Surface-to-air defense systems known as Chiron, which are very effective against low-flying targets such as helicopters, are speculated as being included in the purchase. Defense Minister Jana Cernochova refused to comment, noting that Czech aid to Ukraine continues, and she would not elaborate on details “for security reasons”.
