As the Turkish Embassy, we organized at our Embassy on the occasion of the 101st anniversary of our Great Offensive Victory, and commemorated Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and all the heroes of our struggle for independence with infinite respect, mercy and gratitude.

Nearly 40 countries attended our event with their Ambassadors, Chargé d’Affaires and Military Attachés, and a distinguished group of nearly 150 guests, consisting of prominent politicians and businesspersons of the Czech Republic, including the former Prime Minister and current head of opposition of the Czech Republic, Mr. Andrej Babiš.

Happy 30 August Victory Day!

Our Ambassador H.E. Egemen Bagis and his wife Ms. Beyhan Bagis along with our Deputy Chief of Mission Ms. Banu Malaman thanked two of our colleagues who will soon be departing from Prague and presented them our traditional Czech glass gifts to remember Czechia. Our First Counsellor Ms. Isil Gurler and our First Secretary Mr. Ahmet Çelik who is also the Director of our Consular Section have been serving with us in our Embassy for many years and it is time for them to move forward to new responsibilities and promotions. We thank them both for their services.

Jako Velvyslanectví Turecké republiky jsme u příležitosti 101. výročí Dne vítězství na naší ambasádě uspořádali recepci, v rámci které jsme si s nekonečnou úctou, milosrdenstvím a vděčností připomněli Gaziho Mustafu Kemala Atatürka a všechny hrdiny našeho boje za nezávislost.

Této akce se zúčastnili velvyslanci, chargé d’affaires a vojenští atašé ze téměř 40 zemí, jež doplnila skupina 150 hostů z řad významných politiků a podnikatelů České republiky, včetně bývalého premiéra a současného šéfa opozice v České republice, pana Andreje Babiše.
