An exhibition of oil painting by the world-renowned Czech painter Alfons Mucha, a famous writer Halide Edip Adıvar, one of the first women’s rights defenders of our country and one of the founders of our Republic as Atatürk’s assistant and translator In the Czech Senate building, hosted by Leaders Magazine, Sayın Beyhan N. Our ambassador Mr. Egemen Bağış, who participated together with the donation, together with researcher Özgür Öztürk, together with the famous artist’s photograph and black pencil sketch of the painting they worked hard to reveal and exhibit in the 1920s. Mucha’s grandson John Mucha and his grandson Marcus Mucha introduced them to other country ambassadors.
Our Ambassador H.E. Egemen Bağış, together with his wife Ms. Beyhan N. Bağış, attended the reception hosted by Leaders Magazine in the Czech Senate, where an oil painting by the world-famous Czech painter Mr. Alfons Mucha of the famous writer Halide Edip Adıvar, one of the first women’s rights defenders of our country and one of the founders of our Republic as Atatürk’s assistant and translator is exhibited. Ambassador Bağış introduced the painting, which he and investigative journalist Mr. Özgür Öztürk had worked hard to uncover and exhibit, the photograph of Halide Edip taken by the famous artist Alfons Mucha in the 1920s and the pencil sketch drawing. Alfonso Mucha’s grandson Mr. John Mucha along with his son Mr. Marcus Mucha hosted ambassadors of other countries along with the publisher of Leaders Magazine, Mr. Meshulam Zisso.
