Ukraine and the Czech Republic have created a defense cluster.

The state company Ukroboronprom has signed an agreement with the Intergovernmental Agency for Defense Cooperation (AMOS) under the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic to create a joint defense cluster, the Ukrainian enterprise reported. The creation of the cluster involves the production of military equipment and an increase in ammunition production in various calibers both at existing facilities and at newly created secure facilities. Also, within the cluster framework, service hubs for military equipment maintenance and repair will be developed. Furthermore, cooperation in the high technology field is foreseen, particularly the creation of joint research centers. To implement these plans, leading Ukrainian and Czech defense companies and international financial partners will be involved.
