Vector Technická Project Brings Culture and Education to Technická Street in Dejvice, Prague
Vector Technická project has returned to the Technická Street in Dejvice, Prague, to offer cultural events, lectures, and workshops under the open sky throughout the summer. The project, initiated by the Prague 6 website, aims to connect city life with student life and create a lively urban space for various cultural and educational activities with the help of furniture, cafes, and restaurants. The program includes regular musical performances, exhibitions, and theater performances, as well as scientific popularization lectures, workshops as part of thematic days, or programs for children. The event’s goal is to make the Dejvice campus more attractive and to connect the natural, scientific, and social life in a fun and realistic way.
The season of Vector Technická began with a double concert by the band Dukla and singer Bariel on Tuesday, April 18, which was combined with the traditional Cross Campus race. The relay race, open to the public, tests the strengths of students and employees of all institutions in the Dejvice campus, with teams of four competing on a route that measures approximately 1 kilometer. The International Day festival, aimed at introducing the international community of the Dejvice campus as well as opportunities for foreign trips and internships for students, also took place during the event. Food, games, music, and sports complemented the festival, making it a fun-filled event.
This year’s novelty is the availability of roller dance lessons. Technická Street will become a place for relaxation, work, and entertainment for everyone, creating an excellent opportunity to unite students and the public for cultural and educational events.
