Attending the opening of Animefest 2023
Day 5. Ambassador Suzuki visited Brno on May, where they participated in the opening of Animefest 2023. 18 already this year’s edition of the Japanese manga and anime festival also offered film screening, lectures, workshops, performances, a contest for the best cosplay and another very rich program. Among numerous foreign guests there was participation from Japan, singer Mika Kobajaši arrived, who among others. sang songs for Attack on Titan animated series, and a group of sword masters and actors Kengido Kamui. This year’s Animefest with a record attendance of around 11,500 visitors was again a great opportunity to enjoy Japanese pop culture. We believe that the event will attract even more visitors in the future and that the popularity of Japanese popular culture in Europe will increase even more thanks to the Czech Republic as its base.
