Weekend Weather: Temporary Cool Front Gives Way to Sunny Days

As we transition into the weekend, a brief cold front will pass through, bringing some temporary coolness before the return of above-average temperatures and sunny skies. Meteorologist Dagmar Honsová, in a forecast shared with Novinky, predicts a brief respite from cooler conditions before the weather takes another turn.

On Thursday, morning mists and low cloud cover will gradually disperse, making room for clear to partly cloudy skies. Daytime temperatures are expected to soar to impressive highs ranging from 23 to 27°C, with some regions possibly breaking temperature records. However, western areas may experience increased cloudiness later in the afternoon.

Moving into Friday, the day will start with partly cloudy or clear conditions, with occasional morning mists or low clouds. Clouds will gradually roll in from the west during the afternoon, with rain showers or drizzles expected in the evening. Morning temperatures will dip to 10 to 14°C, while daytime highs will reach 22 to 27°C.

On Saturday, the passage of a cold front will result in mostly cloudy to overcast skies, accompanied by occasional rain showers or drizzles. Morning temperatures will range from 10 to 14°C, and cloud cover is set to decrease, leaving partly cloudy conditions later in the day, with temperatures rising to 18 to 23°C.

However, the sun is set to make a comeback on Sunday, with partly cloudy to clear skies expected, along with isolated morning mists or low cloud cover. Morning lows will range from 7 to 11°C, while daytime temperatures should reach 22 to 26°C.

Monday will continue the trend, featuring partly cloudy to mainly clear skies with isolated morning mists. Morning temperatures will vary from 6 to 10°C, and in the afternoon, highs will climb to 18 to 23°C.

The warmest day of the upcoming week appears to be Tuesday, marked by partly cloudy to clear skies. Although some transient cloud cover may affect northern regions, and sporadic showers could occur, temperatures are expected to dip to 10 to 14°C in the morning and rise to 23 to 27°C during the day.

However, Wednesday is likely to bring a cooling trend, with partly cloudy to cloudy skies and occasional rain showers or drizzles. Morning temperatures will range from 8 to 12°C, and daytime highs are expected to reach 16 to 20°C.

Stay tuned for further updates on the evolving weather pattern as we move into the following week. Despite brief interruptions, the sunny spirit of summer remains resilient, promising pleasant days ahead for the region.
