The fire warning for the South Bohemia region concluded on Monday morning, while the remaining areas will see the warning expire on Tuesday morning.

According to the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (CHMI), the fire risk will diminish as rainfall spreads across the northwest region, particularly from the southeast on Tuesday night. The anticipated decrease in fire risk is a result of lower air pressure affecting the weather patterns, leading to substantial rainfall in the upcoming days, primarily in the form of thunderstorms and heavy showers.

The northwest region of the country, which has been grappling with low groundwater levels, will finally witness some much-needed rain. However, meteorologists caution that western, northwestern, and central Bohemia continue to face soil dryness, indicating that more rainfall will be necessary to alleviate drought conditions fully.
