Czech Technological Firms Showcase Innovations at Future Cities Exhibition in Budapest

Czech technological firms have left a lasting impression at the highly anticipated Future Cities exhibition held at the Expo exhibition center in Budapest. Backed by the Ministry of Industry, Foreign Affairs, and CzechTrade agency, these pioneering companies seized the opportunity to display their cutting-edge products and services at the Union of Hungarian communities alongside their Czech counterparts.

One of the standout innovations presented at the event was Infraset, a revolutionary device developed by Antonín Koplík from Moram. Infraset addresses the challenge of asphalt waste by employing heat radiation to melt and recycle it. Remarkably, this system can be operated by just two individuals and utilizes recycled asphalt dust along with a long-lasting gas-fueled bottle, which provides up to 16 hours of continuous operation.

HF Servis, another prominent Czech firm, captivated attendees with its nanotechnology-based products Impasol and Impaguard. These groundbreaking offerings utilize nano-coatings that effectively repel dirt, making them ideal for a wide range of applications, including glass surfaces and car paint.

In addition to these noteworthy innovations, other Czech startups also made their mark. Clever Farm, for instance, showcased their satellite-based irrigation control solutions, enabling efficient and precise agricultural practices. Meanwhile, another company proposed an automated street cleaning system, emphasizing the Czech Republic’s commitment to introducing advanced technologies to enhance urban living.

The Czech Republic has been strategically shifting its economic focus from component-based production to offering comprehensive solutions and high-value products with added benefits. The Smart Cities project serves as a prime example of this transition, seamlessly integrating information technology, agriculture, and urban planning to create sustainable and intelligent urban environments.

The success of Czech technologies and startups in Hungary has garnered significant recognition, and the Future Cities exhibition served as an ideal platform for these businesses to showcase their products and services to potential clients and buyers. The event not only facilitated networking and collaboration but also highlighted the exceptional capabilities and potential of Czech companies operating at the forefront of technological advancements.

As the Czech Republic continues to foster innovation and promote its expertise in diverse sectors, collaborations and partnerships formed at exhibitions like Future Cities are expected to contribute significantly to the growth and development of both Czech and international businesses, ultimately shaping the cities of tomorrow.
