Last week, the World Rowing Championships took place in Račice, in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic . The event was particularly successful for Team NL , with a grand total of 11 medals (2 gold, 8 silver, 1 bronze). Particularly impressive: Karolien Florijn claimed the first ever Dutch gold medal in the ‘skiff’-category.
