Heatwave Hits Czech Republic with Temperatures Soaring to 35°C
The Czech Republic is bracing itself for the arrival of a scorching summer heatwave, with temperatures expected to reach a sweltering 35 degrees Celsius. Meteorologist Dagmar Honsová predicts that warm southern winds will dominate the weather until Monday, resulting in tropical temperatures and clear blue skies. However, a cold front is anticipated to move in during the first half of the following week, bringing with it the possibility of rain and thunderstorms.
Thursday will see some showers in the eastern part of the country, accompanied by partly cloudy skies. Morning temperatures will range from 11 to 15 degrees Celsius, dropping as low as 9 degrees in the west. Afternoon temperatures are expected to hover between 23 and 27 degrees Celsius.
Friday will offer mostly clear conditions, with morning temperatures ranging from 12 to 16 degrees Celsius. Afternoon temperatures will climb between 24 and 28 degrees Celsius.
Saturday will bring a mix of sun and clouds, with morning temperatures ranging from 10 to 14 degrees Celsius. As the day progresses, temperatures will rise between 26 and 30 degrees Celsius.
Sunday is expected to be partly cloudy, with morning temperatures ranging from 14 to 18 degrees Celsius. Afternoon temperatures are set to soar between 29 and 34 degrees Celsius.
As the summer season approaches, it is crucial to prioritize safety and well-being during the hot weather.
