Happy 74th anniversary to NATO! This military alliance was founded in 1949 to protect security and stability in the Euro-Atlantic area. 
NATO’s main goal is to ensure the collective defense of its member states against external threats, and to promote security and stability in the region through political and military cooperation.Throughout its history, NATO has been a cornerstone of the transatlantic relationship, uniting its members in their resolve to defend each other against potential threats.

is a founding member and has been a committed partner in strengthening the alliance, contributing significantly to NATO’s missions and operations.

Today, NATO faces security challenges such as cyber attacks and terrorism, but it remains a credible and effective deterrent. In celebrating NATO’s 74th anniversary, we must continue to work together to promote security and stability in the Euro-Atlantic area and reaffirm our commitment to the transatlantic bond.
