Pleasant Temperatures Expected in the Czech Republic Until Mid-September, Hydrometeorological Institute Forecasts

The Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (ČHMÚ) has forecasted that pleasant temperatures are likely to persist in the Czech Republic until mid-September, with meteorologists anticipating above-average temperatures in the first half of the month, followed by average or slightly above-average values for the remainder of September. This outlook covers a four-week period, spanning from September 4th to October 1st.

Meteorologists have provided a detailed breakdown of the expected temperature trends for this period. Currently, in the ongoing week, average daytime temperatures are projected to be around 26°C. However, as the month progresses, temperatures could climb to a tropical 30°C in the latter half of September.

For the second week, average temperatures are expected to hover around 22°C, while in the third and fourth weeks, they should remain around 19°C. Nighttime temperatures are also forecasted to follow a similar pattern, with the weekly average lowest nighttime temperatures expected to be around 11°C in the first two weeks and around 8°C in the third and fourth weeks.

In terms of precipitation, the ČHMÚ anticipates below-average values throughout this four-week period. The first week of the forecast is likely to be precipitation-free, while the second week is expected to see below-average to average precipitation. In the third and fourth weeks, meteorologists project average levels of precipitation.

This weather forecast is sure to be welcomed by residents and visitors alike, as the prospect of pleasant temperatures and limited precipitation provides an extended opportunity to enjoy outdoor activities and make the most of the late summer and early autumn season in the Czech Republic.
