Prague Writers’ Festival

The Prague Writers’ Festival is a festival of ideas. Each year’s theme is a pursuit of the whole through the formation of attention. For Paul Celan, “Attention is the prayer of the soul.” Simone Weil suggests, “Beauty saves the world.” At times, beauty deceives human suffering and attends to our needs. For the past thirty years, the Festival has brought over two hundred of the finest European Union authors to share their ideas and experience. The exhibition presents a selection of their great presence.
