The Embassy of Portugal in the Czech Republic informs all interested parties that, within the scope of the measures developed by the Government in the simplification, strengthening and improvement of digitally provided services by the State, some processes have been simplified dimensions, namely the simplification of procedures for changing the address of the citizen card, as well as requests made electronically and for reuse of biometric data.

So for all requests to change your address, from 28/12/2022, the confirmation of such change can be made by using the service of address change confirmation in the portal eportugal.gov.pt, not being in this case necessary to use a card reader or go in person at the designated services.
