Today is #UNDay. We reflect on 77 years of work to bring peace and security, ensure human rights, and reduce inequalities across the world. Ireland’s membership of the United Nations has been central to our foreign policy since we joined in 1955. Today more than ever we reaffirm our commitment to the principles and values enshrined in the UN Charter. As a current member of the UN Security Council, #Ireland will continue to work closely together with the United Nations to achieve these goals.
