Farmers protest: major traffic disruption expected in Czech Republic

A nationwide farmers’ protest in the Czech Republic has begun on Monday and could last until Thursday 22 February, according to the organisers of the action. The farmers plan to drive a convoy of farm tractors to Prague – to the Ministry of Agriculture on Wilsonova Street.

They have announced the following routes for protest convoys:

– D7 – Panenský Airport – Týnec Slaný towards D7 – Evropská – Svatovítská – Hradčanská – Milady Horákové – Veletržní – Bubenská – Hlávkův most – Wilsonova

– D8 – Lovosice, in the direction of Liberecká – Holešovičky – Most Barikádníků – Argentinská – Za Viaduktem – nábř. Kapitan Jaroše – Hlávkův most – Wilsonova

– D1 – entrance to D1 from Benešov – direction Praga/Praha

5 May – Legerova – Wilsonova

– D4 – Cukrák – Strakonická – Hořejší nábř. – Jirásekův most – Resslova – Ječná – Wilsonova

– D11 – access from D11 – Olomoucká – Pražský okruh – Českobrodská – Hartigova – Husitská – Wilsonova
