Grand Opening of “The Julius”
On the 9th November, there has been the Grand Opening of “The Julius” a new hotel and delicatessen shop located in the very center of Prague. The organizer has been Julius Meinl International, which is a Viennese producer of coffee, gourmet food and grocery. The company is named after its founder, Julius Meinl I and his descendants (5th generation) are still deeply involved in the business.
The company launched the ‘pay with a poem” campaign, where clients were allowed to offer a poem and have a coffee or a tea cup back.
Julius Meinl operates in 70 countries, bringing its Viennese style and taste. It leads shops in US, Australia and now also in the Czech Republic. Prague and Vienna are cities with centuries of civilization in common and visitors may feel the similarities in the architectural environment of the two Central European capitals. The presence of Julius Meinl in Prague continues a rooted historical and cultural tradition.
