Minister Jan Lipavský visited London

On Thursday, 16th November, Minister of Foreign Affairs Jan Lipavský visited London

In London, the Minister presented a Czech state order – the Medal ‚For Heroism‘ in memoriam – to col. Oldřich Doležal, which was received by his son Tom Doležal, and the Medal of the Minister of Foreign Affairs ‘For Merit for Diplomacy’ to former Czech Ambassador to London Pavel Seifter.

The Minister also met with British National Security Adviser Tim Barrow, Trade Minister Greg Hands and Shadow Foreign Secretary David Lammy. Minister Lipavsky also attended the Magnitsky Human Rights Awards ceremony, where he personally presented the award to Ms Evgenia Kara-Murza, wife of imprisoned Russian dissident Vladimir Kara-Murza.
