O2 TV extends Ladies European Tour tie-up for Czech Republic

2 TV, the pay-tv arm of Czech telecommunications firm O2, has extended its deal to broadcast women’s golf’s Ladies European Tour (LET), the second most prestigious tour of women’s golf in the world.

The multi-year deal will see O2 TV’s O2 TV Sport channel, which has broadcast the LET since 2022, cover the tour through to 2026.

The network will showcase as many as 20 of the tour’s 31 events across the, with its 2024 coverage beginning with the season-opening Magical Kenya Ladies Open which begins today.

Marek Kindernay, O2 TV Sport executive director, said of the deal: “We have extended the broadcasting rights for transmissions from the Ladies European Tour for the Czech Republic, so top golf continues on O2 TV Sport at least until 2026.”

The partnership will be centered around the 2024 Czech Ladies Open which will run from June 21-23 in Beroun, Czech Republic at the Royal Beroun Golf Club.
