Two of the best-known rum brands of the Philippines – Don Papa and Tanduay – joined hundreds of global brands at the 12th Prague International Rum Festival at Zluté Lázně, Podolské nábřeží, Prague on 01 June 2024.

Present in the Czech Republic for quite some time now, Don Papa rum connected deeper with Czech consumers as Aaron William Goodall, Global Brand Ambassador, held a seminar on the roots of the rum in the Philippines, Sugarlandia or better known as Negros, at the main hall of the festival.

Tanduay rum, meanwhile, is new to the Czech market. Matouš Kainc, Key Account Manager and Brand Ambassador, stated that he was very pleased with the public’s positive reception of Tanduay.

Mr. Martin Kraut, Founder and CEO of Bar Life (and Managing Director of Linkman Media s.r.o.), the event’s organizer, expressed hope for more Filipino brands to participate in the annual rum festival or in a related event, the Prague Bar Show.

Stock Spirits and Dios Trading are the main importers and distributors of Don Papa and Tanduay, respectively, in the Czech Republic. END.
