On the 13th of December 2023, the iconic baroque castle of Prague Troja is set to undergo a mesmerizing transformation, evolving into a unique visual spectacle as part of the Signal Festival. Curated by Milan Malíček, this event marks a celebration of St. Lucy’s Day, coinciding with the year’s longest night, promising an unforgettable experience for attendees.
The project, aptly named “Svatá Lucie” or St. Lucy, is conceptualized as a refined fusion of extravagant beauty and contemporary art. The choice of the grand baroque castle and the timing aligned with the longest night of the year creates an ideal canvas for this artistic endeavor.
The exhibition will feature the works of distinguished artists Klára Horáčková, Jan Poš, Karel Šimek, Chris Salter, and Alexandra Saunier. Each artist brings a unique perspective and style to the event, contributing to a rich and multi-faceted experience for the audience.
