Swimmer Kubova ended her career.

Water has closed over the career of Czech swimmer Simona Kubova. The three-time Olympian, who carried european and world championship medals, quit the race track. At the age of 32, and after the unfortunate fracture of her rib that precipitated her decision.
The Chomutov native dedicated herself to the character, achieving her greatest achievement in 2013. At the European Short Pool Championships, she swam to 50 for gold. She won 18 medals from major events, including the Universiade or World Cup, one from the world championships – in 2012 on the 100-meter track. The number of her Czech titles was closer to 100. Czech records are held at all three sign-making distances.
She swam at the top level despite her asthma. She qualified three times for the Olympic Games, best finishing in her first at London 2012, that was under her maiden name of Baumrt. She placed tenth on the 100. It also launched in Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2021. She participated in the prestigious International Swimming League through steady and high performance, with the Energy Standard team winning it in 2021.
“I’m training the kids in Kadani for now, but I can’t make a living coaching. So I’ll partly work as a physiotherapist and tutor in accounting, I have two big options for what to do,” confided the swimming queen of the last decade and a half, who last year still managed the bespoke limit for the 2024 Paris Olympics. During that time, he will run for a seat on the International Olympic Committee’s athletes’ committee.
He can’t imagine life without a favorite sport. At the same time, she is looking forward to new challenges, such as accounting or running for the International Olympic Committee (IOC) athletes’ committee, which will test her communication skills. She said at a meeting with reporters today.
She and Canadian coach Rushton, whom she met in the Energy Standard team in the ISL professional league, want to have a base in the Czech Republic. ‘He’s in for bigger changes, too. We’re trying to adapt. He’s a good coach and I don’t want him to quit coaching because he’s got those results. I don’t want to live anywhere else. He works with a lot of states, so he doesn’t have anywhere to live. We’re still planning how it’s going to be.
